They may look shiny from a glance, but they're not as slippery as one might think. Perhaps if they had been recently washed after getting a lot of dirt, they might be slippery, but for the most part, they aren't as slippery as some would think. Not even the shiny would make them look too slippery despite how similar they kind of is it a compromise because of how much light is reflected off the body. Regardless, epoxy-floors are not slippery and only feel like it with certain footwear or other items to look into. At worst, should someone accidentally spill some water, then that will make the floor slippery (also applies when it's mopping or anything like it) because the stains don't sink into the epoxy coat when the mass of the water is around the same dimensions found on some usually small drinking cups.
